Nursing Resources of Sarasota provides private duty nursing and other home-health care related services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Let us provide you with safe and reliable home health care.
Nursing Resources provides a free initial assessment by a licensed nurse. An individual care plan is created that will meet all of our client's needs. A licensed nurse supervisor will visit every 60 days to ensure that all needs are being met. However, if an issue arises our supervisors will provide free courtesy visits and the care plan will be modified to meet the new needs of the client. Our number one priority is to make sure all of the clients' needs are met.

Case Management
After-Surgery Care - We provide after-care services for medical or elective surgery.
Travel Assistance - Traveling is not always easy, even for the healthiest person. There are times when having some assistance can make a trip, or move, much easier. We can provide you or a loved-one with a traveling companion that will make the traveling process much easier.
Transport Services - Our medical transport services have helped clients attend medical appointments, move from one facility to another, move from a facility to home and they have helped clients travel long distances for specialized medical care. Our medical transport services are available to everyone, regardless of the non-emergency reason. We provide safe, secure and comforting transportation by competent health care staff who can handle any emergency situation.
Infusion Therapy
Personal Home Care -Personal home care includes all activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, toileting, ambulation home exercise programs, laundry, light housekeeping, meal preparation, home companionship etc.
In-Hospital Care - If you are worried about leaving a loved-one in the hospital alone, but are unable to stay with them because of work and/or family responsibilities you can call us. We can stay during the day and overnight and ensure your loved-one is properly cared for.
Medication Management - Our team of medical caregivers help clients and families handle medication from a simple reminder to total medication management.
Patient Advocacy - Sometimes our patients need someone to stand up and ensure that they are getting the proper medical care. We accompany clients to the ER, hospitals, doctor's appointments, physical therapy sessions and more. Our private duty care nurses explain the medical issues the patient is dealing with, the medications they are taking and many times ensure that the medical care given is appropriate and necessary. Our team advocates for our clients in all situations.
Catheter and Ostomy Care
Diabetic Monitoring - There are times when both children and adults need help dealing with their diabetic condition. Our staff can help with diabetic monitoring, medication management, case management and more.
Short-Term and Long-Term Care- Nursing Resources has created a competent, caring staff that will be able to meet the needs of those needing short-term or long-term care. Many of our clients need a team consisting of a case manager, private nurses, a physical therapist and a home health aide to regain their independence. Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy - If you or someone you love needs physical, speech and/or occupational therapy please contact us and let us help you obtain the care you need.
Maternal and Infant Care - There are times when new mothers need the care of a private duty nurse or a home health aide to recover from the birthing process. Additionally, when a mother needs help recovering she may also need help caring for her new baby. Nursing Resources has RNs, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants that will provide the best care for both mother and baby.
Wound and Dressing Care - Some wounds are nearly impossible to properly care for by yourself. If you or a loved-one needs help caring for a wound we can help.
Respite Care - Respite care is short-term care that allows families to take a break from the stress they endure while providing long-term care for a family member.
