Sarasota Medical Case Management
Nursing Resources offers an assortment of nursing-related services and we also offer case management services. All of our case managers are licensed nurses who oversee scheduling, prepare care plans and manage the ongoing care of each client. Physicians and family members can contact our case managers and receive updated and accurate reports on the health and welfare of each client in accordance with HIPPA.
A Coordinated Effort
Our Licensed Case Managers coordinate services with the clients' physician(s), health care facilities, insurance companies, medical equipment providers and hospice, if appropriate. The objective of this coordinated effort is to improve the quality of our clients' daily living.
Patient Advocacy
Another important aspect of case management is patient advocacy. Our Licensed Nurse Case Managers are continually advocating for our clients by attending appointments with physicians, visiting hospitalized clients, monitoring our clients' health care services and ensuring that clients are receiving the proper care.
Debbie Woods, RN, BSN Nursing Administrator
Debbie Woods is our nursing administrator and a principal of Nursing Resources. Debbie, a graduate of the University of Florida, has extensive nursing and administrative experience. Her career in nursing has included working in hospitals, hospice and home health.
Debbie has created very high standards of nursing care at Nursing Resources and these standards greatly benefit our clients and their families. High-quality health care services are the minimum requirement at Nursing Resources. Our clients receive the medical care they need and they also have a medical care team that truly cares.
